Objectives

Decide upon the type of building you need, it’s size and ideal location. Whilst moving premises is hard work it can be an exciting opportunity to re-think your working practices, plan for future growth, re-brand and energise your staff.

The Right Building

Once you have short-listed buildings that might ‘fit the bill’ CID can carry out reasonably price feasibility studies/space planning exercises to ensure that everything will fit and to help you set your budget.

Commercial Property Expert

Working with a knowledgeable commercial agent and/or surveyor during your office relocation can save you a lot of time in finding available buildings and negotiating rent. CID partner with a number of reputable agents who can assist you in your search.

Project Team

Once you have identified a design and build company, this is a good time to consult with and involve your staff. For companies it is also the time to appoint a project team with clear roles and responsibilities – this should include IT, Finance and Marketing, as well as representatives from your design and build partner.

Design and Build

You will now want to approach potential design and build partners and select one to work with you to deliver your project.
