Project Overview

We took on an office refurbishment project in Sutton for our client Sutton Housing Society. The project involved re-dividing the space to work better for them. Over 3 months CID completely refurbished the space to reflect the company’s ethos and values. As a company that is highly involved in the local community they were keen for the refurbishment to reflect Sutton and the local area.

Our client wanted their project to take place over two phases allowing for their team to be relocated at the half way point for minimal disruption. We managed the refurbishment project to ensure a smooth transition. CID organised multiple contractors to work on the site for maximum efficiency. Our client had a clear vision for the design and we were excited to turn the vision into a finished build.

Breakout Area

We created a new kitchen with a built in oven, microwave and hob. The back painted glass splash back enables the light to bounce around the room as well as being a practical addition to a communal kitchen. The digital wallpaper draws in some of the themes of community and provides a nod to Sutton’s status a leafy London borough. Our client now has a bright and airy space for the team to take breaks and also gives them cooking facilities for hosting events.

Dividing the Space

One of the main aspects of this office refurbishment was to redefine the existing space. By installing new stud and glass partition walls we created three new private offices on the First Floor of the building. Bespoke Ash room dividing screens were also manufactured to separate different teams and allow for a relaxed soft seating area within the space. Feature lighting, digital wallpaper and artwork personalise the First Floor offices. The finished result is an inspirational work-space that gives a real sense of the Sutton community.
