CID Workspace was appointed to refurbish the toilet blocks across four floors of Nestlé’s Crawley-based office. The refurbishment was completed in seven phases to ensure minimal disruption to employees and their work environment.

Phased Approach for Minimal Disruption
To keep the workplace fully functional, the refurbishment was carefully phased, with one area completed at a time. This allowed staff to continue using alternative facilities while works were carried out.
Health & Safety Considerations
Nestlé’s “Bring Your Dog to Work” policy required a tailored approach to site safety. Special measures were taken to ensure the safety of both employees and their pets, including clear signage, designated safe routes, and noise control.
Bespoke Colour Schemes
Each floor was designed with a distinct colour scheme to give every toilet block its own identity. The chosen colours—blue, lilac, and green—were reflected in the duct panels, splashbacks, and other finishes.
Custom Printed Splashbacks
Digitally printed acrylic splashbacks added a unique visual element to each washroom:
Lilac: Lavender fields
Green: Coffee plants
Blue: Clouds
Design Approval with Visual Renders
Before work began, we provided the client with detailed 3D visual renders, allowing them to see the final design concept and approve every detail in advance.
Feature Lighting & Mosaic Tiling
To create a modern and welcoming space, we installed LED feature lighting behind the mirrors and added mosaic tiling to the vanity areas, enhancing both aesthetics and functionality.
Upgraded Washroom Accessories
All washroom accessories were replaced with high-quality brushed stainless steel fixtures, including hand towel dispensers, toilet roll holders, and toilet brushes for a sleek, cohesive look.
